Le récap'2023

The 2023 recap

I had dreamed of a year of success sparkling like champagne, of a fireworks success story for 2023, it was ultimately 365 days of work that took me to a completely different place, changing my perspectives and my vision of what I expect from BLISS.

A creative year

As usual, I wanted to offer you a coherent and sincere creative vision, always renewed. Japan, Brittany, the snowy winter inspired me for this year's collections. Always a unique piece, always with the same concern for upcycling, but from increasingly old, unusual, narrative and remarkable elements for their aesthetics or their story, which I enjoy telling.

A year of commitment

Commitment is one of the founding pillars of BLISS. This year again, they multiplied, with Band of Sisters , during Pink October, with a special collection to raise funds for the Rose Up association, but also by helping Nony in her photographic project, but also on a daily basis , by choosing Green Got , a bank resolutely committed to preserving the environment, and by donating my hair to Fake Hair Don't Care . But above all, by tirelessly continuing to choose quality upcycled items, by moving closer to zero waste, and by continuing to proudly highlight my environmental convictions.

A year together

When creators meet, great ideas happen. With Valerie, creator of Le Workshop , we tested several collaborations between gold letters and antique jewelry, starting with the customization of cases exclusively for the Christmas collection, but we also have great collab ideas for the months coming soon (stay tuned)...

With Caroline, from A Place for Each Thing , as well as with Amandine, curator and creator of the Reunion, we have imagined hybrid formats to meet you, discuss and do your shopping differently. I even offered upcycling workshops to help you create your unique pieces from your jewelry, thanks to Nadège, in her Terres des Batignolles workshop.

Since this summer, BLISS has been distributed in points of sale with perfect sensitivity, consistent with the values and atypical style of my jewelry.

In La Trinité sur Mer, in a corner of Brittany that is dear to me, Sylvie chose to integrate BLISS to complete the cool and sharp looks in her pretty boutique, Joséphine.

And then the surprise of having been selected to participate in the engaged corner dedicated to Vintage and Upcycling at the BHV, and carried by Gigi Paris , alongside Ines Pineau and Chineuz 2 Bling .

This year, I also decided to no longer participate in shared Pop-Ups, which have become too numerous and whose quality has greatly declined, due to a lack of consistency and selection.

Likewise, the ephemeral shops require work of preparation, decoration and service of such a level compared to the current attendance that I sincerely think I will not repeat the experience at the Palais Royal, despite this magical place and this ideal setting. . The week in November was a challenge whose results were disappointing, I expected so much, it was my fault. You have to know how to learn from things and change your way of operating.

I was perhaps naive to rely on the support of people outside my project, to believe that mutual aid prevailed for others as for me, that the notoriety of certain people could be offered in complete confidence. kindness. I was disappointed not to obtain the support of people who could have easily changed the situation, given a helping hand and boosted the impact of certain actions. I won't be caught, but I hope I can continue to believe in these values of sharing and mutual help among women that are dear to me.

I at least know that what I accomplished again this year, I owe only to myself and to a few close friends in whom I have unfailing confidence, and that is a source of great pride.

The famous 10k

And above all, there is the support of all of you, whom I do not necessarily know and who are increasing in number. Reaching 10k followers on Instagram on December 23, what a wonderful Christmas present!
I admit that there are days when your messages and your encouragement carry me and prevent me from giving in, that they push me to renew myself. It's not always easy to be alone in charge, but often your support comforts me in my choices, in the values I carry, in the creative paths I take.

However, I am happy with this unexpected path, the people I met there and the lessons I learned from it. Because it is from these incredible encounters that I got the best out of this difficult year. I met wonderful women with whom I moved forward, connections were made, and collaborations emerged.

In 2024, I will take things as they come. I don't promise anything, other than to be faithful to my convictions and my creative line, to continue to create jewelry that I like and I hope that you will follow me again... there are already some great ideas on the way, and some changes, ... I'll tell you more very quickly!
